Image of Lego Chic Boutique matching gameIn Lego Chic Boutique, you’re a jewelry maker trying to open a successful boutique. You must make jewelry and accessories, and then make enough profit to add elements to your store to upgrade.

This game is really a 2-parter - half Bejeweled and half the Sims. For the jewelry making, you have to match and get rid of 3-fer combinations of shapes. You slide the rows and columns  around to try to get L-shaped or single-line combinations. Matching certain shapes in combination makes different pieces of jewelry. For a ring, for example, you need match 3 stones in a row. A bracelet, on the other hand, needs 3 stones, 3 butterflies, and 3 hearts. You keep the pieces you’ve “made” in inventory.

On the other half of the screen, people enter your boutique to buy stuff. If you have what they want, they buy and leave happy. If not, you lose a customer. Each day you have a set goal of how much you need to make to break even. If you make the goal, you get to go on to the next level. And anything you make over the goal, you can spend on making the store better.

This is where the Sims comes in. You can add decorations, furniture, music, and even helpers to make your store more appealing. Making your store more appealing means that customers spend more and you make more money.

It’s actually a very addicting game. It looks good, there’s some challenge, and I love to decorate, so that part’s fun too. Click here to try out the free 1-hour trial or buy it for $19.95.
