chain reaction word game
Posted by debbie on January 11th, 2007
Chain Reaction is a fun word game that makes you think about how words fit together. The game is based on the Game Show Network’s TV show of the same name. The game board is 7 rows - the first and last rows are filled with a word. Your job is to make a “chain reaction” of words from the top to the bottom, using 2-word phrases. So, for example, if the first word is train, the second might be track. Then, using track as the starting point, the third word might be star.
The game gives you a letter clues, but you pay for them. The more clues you use, the less points you get. You can choose to go up the chain from the bottom or down the chain from the top.
There are 3 rounds, and a final round. Each round is 60 seconds, and each is worth more points. In the final round you have to make a 4-word match in 30 seconds.
It’s a free, exciting game that tests your ability with words, combinations, and thinking outside the box.

Hi, I don’t think you can buy it. You can, though, play it for free on the game show network website at http://www.gsn.com/minigames/minigame.php?id=1
